New book available this month: The Glittering Court

From an interview with USA Today

What inspires your book/writing ideas?

Everything, everything, everything. Things in the world, things inside me. No lone idea ever leads to the creation of one of my stories. They’re always built from the synthesis of many, many pieces I’ve put together. I think of my books as mosaics.

What do you do when you get stuck?

The secret is not writing (if a deadline will allow that). The more you stare at a computer waiting for answers to come, the less likely they are to. Go out there and live life. Ideas often come to me when I’m least expecting them.

What’s your favorite snack and/or beverage while you’re writing?

White chocolate or dark?

Salty or sweet?

Favorite YA hero?

Mr. Darcy

Favorite YA romance book of all time?

Rose in Bloom by Louisa May Alcott. How’s that for obscure?![/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
